Got a couple calls from my good friend Bob Fulcher. I was lucky enough to get the prototype of his new longbox design, the Stepside. Believe me, this isn't just another one piece longbox with a base. Actually, I wouldn't even consider it as having a base. It's more of an integral design feature, that allows Bob to achieve the desired sound he wants. And, believe me, it is full of turkey. The second caller is a cactus scratch box. I have several of Bob's scratchers and they are all slap full of feathers! Gary, great to see you back to posting again, that'll get you feeling back to normal again hopefully. That long box is a real beauty, could you give us an insight as to the wood combo used and what the inlay on the "base" is.?  Also what is the striker for the scratcher made from, it seems to look like it has a quarter sawn appearance, really nice work.  I was hoping that the moderators would bite on that callmaker of the month "deal" I posted earlier this month, as Bob was going to be my suggestion as the first highlighted crafter !! Soooo ........, anyone else care to post the "goodies" that they have recieved from ole' shadetree on this thread ???? Would love to see somemore, Thanks Gary for posting, and BTW, if you're carrying these around in your vest this spring, I'm comin' down to follow you around, just incase you drop one or leave one sit about, next to that big "ole' shadetree" that you set up against , HAHA, have a great day, Lonnie
