Title: The best Owl Call
Post by: boxcaller on January 17, 2013, 07:31:16 AM
Guys if you are looking for the most realistic,..easiest to run Owl call out there,...look no further than James Harrison.  I recently glued up some very special wood and sent it to James and he crafted me two beautiful pieces out of it.  A great guy and one heck of a craftsman.  Check him out!!

And Jeff,...I'll say it now so you won't have to,....."Here is a nice set of Hooters!"

Pat
cant tell....is that one natural and one IMPLANT   ;D
Man, ya got a great set there from James.
I always used the plastic version of his call and thought it was really good....until, I was on a hunt in S. Alabama with friends when I heard each of theirs---wooden models . I must say they are really really strong.
Congrats on the set and that glued up one ya did is steller ~!!!!!!!

I usually try to get things in "two's" as they just go into my little girl's collection,....but now they will fight over which one gets that laminated one.  I guess i shoulda done two,....but that was a pain in the butt making that pattern.

James makes the best hooter bar none IMO.  The curly maple cames from me, he has received about 30 blanks from me in the past 2 years and they have a great tone.
