Title: Amboyna Burl and Ebony

I've been wanting to try my hand at wire inlay for some time.  I had an idea make an Amboyna center section between Ebony with wire inlay between the pieces.  I got a hold of some aluminum wire at a hardware store and the adventure ensued.  This ended up being way above my skill level.  I must have re-glued the wire five times.  Doesn't hold a candle to Ralph Permar's corncob trumpet from Nashville last year. 

The other trumpet is Kingwood with ivory and is headed to PA.

Brian for the first attempt that didn't turn out looking bad at all. I wouldn't give up on it.
