A proven favorite of mine and a call the hens and gobblers both love, figured Black Walnut over Yellow heart Poplar with Sumac and blocks and purpleheart spacers.  This call was built for a stand up callmaker and a bonified turkey thug...even if he is from California *bannana* ROTFLMBO.  I am always a bit nervous when building for a decerning ear, but in this case, the call has the all of sound I could ever want and I know he'll roll some western turkey heads with it.  The left rail sports a big wandering gobbler in the late season as he contineus to search for still one more hen *bannana* along an old barbed wire fence line.  The right rail has a couple feeding hens and an ever present strutting gobbler as they search for insects in the early morning on an upper meadow.  Sure hope he likes it.  Click on the video for a chilly December sound clip.  Thanks fer lookin and listenin!

Ah Joe...you must be mistaken for the other Turkey Thug in northern California *lol* *lol*sorry ;) ;)  It's a swetheart and I'm have a hard time letting it go *cry*

Thanks Bob...been trying to hunt the whitetails hard and cache the freezer, but most of my time is spent on the road traveling back to care for my dad.

hey bud, I know you don't know me but let me tell yah...  You aint got nothing to worry about with your calls fitting anyones bill based on what I have heard from folks and what sound files I have heard.  Your calls sound fantastic, look awesome and are flat out top shelf in my opinion.  Great work, great combo by the way and keep it up.  Thanks for sharing all your calls.----Jason

Jason, your right, ole Popcorn really has been making some fabouious calls the last few years. His sound is spot on and his wood burning....stands on its own also.
