Title: A fine Turpin Short for Mr. Erb

Here is one of three Turpins going out to Mr. Erb.  I was really excited about this one, it has a lot of memories.  I set it up just like the original Tom Turpin short box that I used for 13 years.  It sets down on the back side of the French Curve to have more rasp.  Right side is lower pitched with rasp.  Left side is higher pitched with rasp.  This one sounds better than the original in my opinion.  Can't tell you how many I killed with the orginal.  Great gobble on this one.  The walnut was given to me Eustace Winn IV and came from the Grand Staircase center post of the Baby Doll House Restoration Circa 1859.  I will post one of the other two in a few weeks.  One is a #1 and it will be a surprise, I will not post it until he receives it.

Sent this call to Mr. Erb a couple of weeks ago and got a neat response back.  He said that he had called up a flock of 50 birds across a hay field the other day with it to 20 yards.  Said he would send the pictures of them coming a running.
