PA s rifle started this past monday hadnt seen a deer all mornin then this 6 point presented its self so figured i might as well put some  meat on the table ,,,,pa public land ,,,,,sausage is made and the jerky is soaking

Congrats, it seems like deer in PA, is getting tough! As long as it's legal, the size of the rack doesn't matter, you'll be eating good! *up* *up*

Congrats, it seems like deer in PA, is getting tough! As long as it's legal, the size of the rack doesn't matter, you'll be eating good! *up* *up*

Yes gettin tough,, we no longer got 2 weeks doe in my area so the numbers are getting better ,, and i have never been a horn hunter LOL  (doe season comes tomarrow ) I try get 2 or 3 a year and do my own processing  and normally have them eatin up by august

As for the 760 its 30-06   i got 2 one made before 60s and one in the pic a bit newer. I been using that gun 23 years now with a $29 simmons 3x9 scope.lol    they are not tack drivers but with hand loads it can hit chew can at 200 yd all day long  and wheir i most of my hunting your lucky get 75 yd shot

I've got a Model 141 in 32 Rem that I shot a bunch of deer with. Kinda retired it a few years back, 32 Rem cartridges are getting pretty scarce. Got a 7600 carbine in 30-06 to replace it.
