This is a custom, hand made display case for trumpets and other wind instruments that can be hung on a wall or set on a stand of sorts. Perfect for an awesome office display, den, camp or etc. Its a project my brother-in-law and I have been wanting to complete for sometime. Hope you enjoy seeing it. If anyone is interested this one is for sale and we are also taking orders. We can build these to meet your call needs, sizes and ideas as well. Wood options are maple, birch, walnut and cherry. However this is our standard size.
This particular case measures approx. 30x22x5, weighs close to 30lbs being made of 5/8" true hard maple with an aged patina stain and high gloss finish. It is accented with matching crowning and rope bead on top and bottom. The inside is lighted with a recessed LED light, has a mirror for back ground which is etched in four corners with turkey feathers. The call shelf is made with clear acrylic call rods, black velvet shelf plate and is enclose with a glass door using hide-away hinges, magnetic closure and a deer tine door pull. It holds 11 calls total. The base front is also hand carved with a scene of 3 hens and a strutting gobbler. Wish we could take better pictures to capture the true colors and clarity of this case, pictures just don't do it justice at all.
Hand carved case like this $650 or un-carved $420 as of 2/10/13. Thanks for the look. Pm if interested or contact me by email.---Jason

These cases are amazing. I've yet to see anything like them. I had the great opurtunity to spend a few hours in his shop just a month ago. This was the topic of conversation for obvious reasons.
