Title: Finally got daylight!!!

Finally after 5 years of being on second shift I got a position on daylight.  On 10/29/2012 I started to work for the Alcoa Technical Center Research and Development as an Instrument Technician.  So far so good and I love the fact that I can go hunting after work again.  Now I just need to make time to get back into the shop again.

Congrats. I know I hated working afternoons and late nights. Some people are made for those shifts and I know I'm not one of them.

matt,.....you we're lucky with just night shift or day shift,.....i work for myself and i have to work BOTH night shift AND day shift *lol*

I worked 7 years on second shift for Corning Glass Works in Raleigh. I loved it!  But, I was younger then! *lol*

Spent 8 1/2 years on nights when I was much younger. Did 2 weeks this year thought I was going to die. *aah*

 Going on 19 years of nights and it still sucks! Glad to here you are no longer nocturnal.  *cheers*
