I have one of the worlds smallest kitchens and even less counter top space. I realized that my microwave was far too big for what I need and it ate up a lot of the counter. Since my girlfriend and I enjoy cooking together so much I knew I had to come up with something better. I picked out some cherry and really nice curly maple to make a new wine rack. The wine rack is modeled after the kitchen table I made a couple of years ago. I also got a smaller microwave. It was a nice surprise for her and what an improvement! I'm still thinking that one of the most important classes I took in school was woodworking.
