Title: Ash Burl yelper
Post by: strutnrut on October 07, 2012, 12:23:40 PM
This is a Black Ash Burl Yelper deerhorn and Hen Bone mouthpiece. It the first one I have done with a 6.5" body and it turned out nice IMO.

Yes Sir the call was stabilized a friend sent it to me to try out. Mark, I like the short yelper but if you have big hands like mine. The longer call feels a little better. You don't feel like your elbows are to close in on your chest. The shorter one sound great an really good for a 1 handed call for close in work.  If I get some more Hen bones I may try one out of Desert Ironwood. I needed to see how this length was going to sound so I built one to see if I like it or not.
