Richard Hudson (strutnrut) recently posted some pics of Hen Boxes he had been working on. I got this Desert Ironwood/spalted Poplar from him this week. I know most of you have already seen it but it is such a looker I wanted to post it again. This one is also stuffed full of hen turkey. Thanks again Richard.

So you're the lucky one! That is one beautiful call....I love the 2 hen boxes I got from Richard and they will definitely be used next week!

Thanks for the kind words. Now if ya'll haven't notices the nail in the handle of the call. I do beleive that to be a very old square nail that at one point was driven into that tree. My band saw found it for me and it was just to cool to pull out so I left it in there.

Rickey the bad thing is you take a better picture than me.  :)

Again thanks I hope all of ya'll kill many turkeys with the calls. It's what keeps me going to the shop everyday. The support from other hunters fuel our passion. THANKS
