My buddy drenalind (David Young) had a trumpet around his neck when he was at the house he did not want to put down. He told me he had gotten it from Robert Glover ( Crawdad on here). His sure sounded and looked good. Robert is an Arkansan who does not live far from me so I contacted him about getting a trumpet. Well, this is what showed up at the house today. A Cocobolo trumpet with a delrin mouthpiece, a brass ferrule, and a delrin/coco lipstop. It is gorgeous. And I hate to tell you David but this one may sound better than yours. If you are looking for a quality trumpet at a real bargain price, give Robert a shout. This may be the easiest running trumpet I ever picked up. I will be back for more.

Geat looking stick! His run so easy and tone down for soft killing talk better than any I have picked up. I have to post a sound bite soon. Congrats on a fine call.

Great looking trumpet you have. Can you show a close up of the mouth piec e? From your photo, it looks like it is turned down pretty skinny down by the ferruel.

Here is a pic of the Crawdad trumpet and an older MKW trumpet for comparison. The mouthpiece on the Crawdad trumpet is skinnier than some but about the same size as several of my trumpets.

These trumpets may be some of the true bargains in the turkey call world. I have been running mine outside this morning and it sure sounds good to me. I had every dog in the neighborhood on fire.

Beautiful call. I have never seen a trumpet used around here. In fact have never seen one except online. They must do something good with all the work folks put into them. Congrats on a great looking call.
