This is a Butternut box with a Purpleheart lid and bottom with matching inlays.

That stuff is not fun to work with. Takes forever to sand it as well. It's still not as hard as the Malaysian blackwood I just put on my Parquet. I broke 2 brass screws just trying to mount the lid and I even pre drilled the hole. *lol*
