those things are awesome. a buddy of mine has a knock off version of the bbb and it too is great. it doesn't have quite the power of the bbb.

I am working on building a pretty bad to the bones golf cart! I wanted a gas powered one with us driving a long distance and no way of plugging the vehicle in!

With the way I go at things, probably a while.... I wanted it ready by this deer season, but that's not going to happen :(
I hope to have it mid summer. Have to put a lift on it, new tires and wheels and have a roll cage built. After that, it should be good to go!

I have 2 Bad Boy Buggys (an '06 & an '08 - both bought new), & quite frankly - "they suck"; especially the '08, after the factory recall mod that was "slipped in on me" after bringing that unit in for it's annual service ... >!!
... but, I do use them quite allot during the fall & spring hunting seasons - not just for a couple of few weekends ... :-\
I've always said the golf cart was the worst possible choice for an "Off-Road" 4WD application; that is, other than maybe a shopping cart - but a $12.5k to $15k golf cart ... ::) ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO
Saw this the other day, & shouted "hallelujah" - finally one of the "real" off road vehicle companies are coming to the rescue - I'm sure it's just a matter of time before some of the other "real" companies follow suit ... RkLu

I bought one a couple of years ago and love it. There is a place here in Savannah that I went to and they helped me out a good bit. I bought it used but you couldnt ever tell. The chasis is like a -- 90's model, The body is a little newer, and I asked for the high speed motor in it. Other than that, its good to go. They through in some bells and whistles to go along with it too:)
I'll send picks next week....

I have a pretty nice gas golf cart, but we only use it when we go dove hunting. Other than that, the kids ride it around the neighborhood.

My buddy has a BBB and it's nice but I just can't see spending that kind of money on one. I have a quad but still prefer to walk over riding it. In some of the places I hunt carts and quads have ruined the hunting. It used to be that only those willing to put in the extra effort could reach the out of the way places. Now everyone just unloads their cart or quad and rides up to them. To me that takes away some of the fun out of it but that's just me.

depending on where i'm hunting, or how much ground i want to cover, i like using them. there is one property in particular, that using a golf cart is a great thing. we usually ease in a couple hundred yds from where we plan on setting up and then go from there. we will work that area and put in a mile or two on foot, then circle back to the cart if we need to relocate. it's nice being able to turn off the thermacell for a little while and let the breeze keep the skeeters away.
