Old growth Lignum Vitae. The last Mr Buice said he has and cannot get more. He made it in 05' and it has been in his shop since. 3, 4, & 5 mouthpieces.
A little sound teaser.

That is a special trumpet from Mr. Buice for sure. That Lignum Vitae has turned and is beautiful. I opened your soundfile from YouTube and it sounds great. But like I have told you, all your trumpets sound turkey.
-
Congrats on a sweet trumpet! *dance*

Figured out the youtube link issue. It was posted from my phone. I added a link for computer.

I love a Buice Trumpet. Mr. Billy is top notch. That is an awesome trumpet. I know someone who has a Lignum Vitae trumpet from Billy that has about 30 gobbler harvest on it.

SurroundedByOutlaws bought the sister to this call a few weeks ago from Billy. Jory tried to tell me how good it was and that Billy could not get anymore of the old growth lignum vitae but I didn't listen. That is a dandy David.

01 Buice Lignum Vitae ...........
5 mps, one of Lignum, one Corian, three white dentine looking stuff....... *gobble*
Mr. Billy makes great calls.
-
That is a cool trumpet even more special because of previous owner.
When I get my Olivewood Del picked out the other day, I am thinking a few different mp's are in order. Corian and LV would be cool. Do you think those are white Delrin? Sure look cool with the black marks.
-
You mean the call Del and I picked out??? LOL!!!!!
Heck, we wanted to take all of them with us. It is hard to choose. Del changed his mind more than once on what he was leaving with..
That olive call will please you I'm sure . It sounds great.

Don't know, if you can meet a finer man, then Billy..
His calls are darn special, too.... RkLu

Yeah I wanted a few, but had my mind set on that B&W ebony or that fiddleback walnut. David that Olivewood runs very sweet. Not sure how well you could see it on your phone but here she is in her full splendor. Andy and Billy both nodded approval when i was running it. Its gonna be a killa for you no doubt.

If you and Del approve it, it will be keeper for sure. I wanted one with a lot of figure in the grain and it definitely has that. If I ever get in his shop, the kids won't have a college fund any longer!! He sure is fun to talk to on the phone, i know a little time with him in that shop would be special!!
