Here is one of my favorite combinations, Cherry over Yellow Poplar in my Hunter Series design. The right rail has a new Barred Owl I have never done before, but I like this one better than all others I have burned. The left rail was a request also from the customer and that is a duck scene. I had the artistic freedom to do what I wanted and while it took some time to get the initial composition I wanted, I hope the hunter will be pleased. Last, the lid has my tail feather. Scott that is a beautiful job on the call. I like the new owl but they are both impressive. I think the hunter style box put's more focus on the wood burning it looks great.

Oh, I`m more than pleased with the way that woodburning compliments that fine poplar/ Cherry shortbox! The duck scene reminds me of Mallards that I have jumped off our marsh! *bowing* That Barred Owl is way cool and the feather is absolutely outstanding! *dance* I can`t wait to run her! Thanks!
