We can pay out welfare to some sorry good for nothing that has never contributed in any way to our country other than sucking it dry, but we cant spend money on something to help our fighting men and women heal mentally. We can pay over 45K a year to keep a murderer alive on death row for 20 years, but not for a dog. Im the son of a war vet, a brother n law to two active duty mulitple deployment vets, and friends to many more. PTSD is a real disease, and this is a digraceful act by our government.
And no...I didnt read the whole article, i was to pissed after the first couple paragraphs

I'm all in for doing everything we can for our vets. If you read the article , it really doesn't make it clear why the VA has been slack with this program. Maybe, they are being cautious and want more facts. But it sounds like to me, if this program is done right, it will be a big help to our vets in need. We should do everything we can to help our vets! I'm also sick of giving handouts to people on welfare, that are able to work. I can't even get help with my mother. After all those years of working and paying taxes, they won't do a thing for me. But, you let some illegal alien with 4 or 5 kids ask for help and they will bend over backwards for them. They ran me out of the social services office because I was so mad and raising heck!! We need to put the government back in the hands of the working people and get rid of those idiots in our government, no matter what party they are from. God bless America and her peope in her military! USA USA
