Title: Fallen marine honored in my hometown
Post by: drenalinld on August 29, 2012, 08:32:58 AM
After being MIA for 37 years this marines remains were positively identified and returned home yesterday. Proud of my hometown for honoring a soldier the right way. My wife took my two daughters to the parade which brought up some great questions from the four year old and she learned a lot yesterday. At the end of the video the news station captured my wife and two little girls waving flags. I'm a little proud of them also!

Good story. I'm a Viet Nam veteran too. I know there a lots of missing soldiers still. I guess this just proves that you should never give up.
