Title: plenty for the deer to eat

I dont deer hunt much anymore, but my old habits have me scouting anytime Im in the woods. I had the kids in the boat with me today joyriding. I couldnt help but notice all the grapes and wild pecans this year. Trees and vines are LOADED around here this year. I can only imagine how the white oaks look. I just may have to climb a tree in a few weeks.

Here in my part or WV everything is spotty. What acorns they are, are small due to dry weather, but the ones I have cut open are good. At least there is some food, not like a few years ago when there was nonthing.

Got land in north and middle Georgia everything is loaded acorns,grapes,perssimons

Deer are very poor, even mature bucks here. Acorns fell prematurely because of drought. AR was very, very dry until Isaac came through.
