Title: Some Calls in Progress

These are some callers that I am working on...three different looks at the same thing...two variations of  turpins, both made of poplar ; one with tiger maple and one with acid stained tiger stripe maple; some unfinished cost style boxes and three scratch boxes with walnut and maple....what looks like in the picture to be a washer on one of the turpins is really a bloodwood inlay ( just wanted to see what it would look like...not sure if I like it )

Thanks for the comments...the acid stain on the tiger maple is the same technique used by the  old time rifle makers on the long rifle stocks of the 17th and 18th century

That's a boatload of turkey wood there!  That acid stained maple is saweet!
