Got my freeze dried head in on Thursday. So I got the paints out and got to work. Now I just have to wait for my limb to get here so I can mount the turkey.

Joe wasn't around the Roost yet when he thumped that joker. He named it Edward Scissorhands. STUD!! Then he killed a better one this year!!

These 2 turkeys were actually killed in consecutive days. The dead mount was a gobbler that I had been watching for 4 years. The first year I saw him he was at least 2. So that made him at least 6 years old when I decided to hunt him and ended up killing him. He had 1 1/4" spurs, 10 5/8" beard and 23.5 lbs. The very next day I killed Edward Scissorhand. He had 1 5/8" and 1 1/2" spurs and 10 1/4" beard and weighed 21.2 lbs. Then this year I killed a monster gobbler in MO that had matching 1 3/4" spurs, 24 lbs, and 11" beard. He scored 81.0 pts on the NWTF system. I couldn't just not mount him. My wife is not very happy. I got my limb in today. Now I am ready to mount.
