Title: Pope's pocket call scratcher
Post by: drenalinld on July 03, 2012, 10:09:10 AM
Has anyone seen these, heard them, or ran them. I cannot believe the sound that comes from this little scratcher. It is LOUD and PROUD and full of turkey.

A round scratcher I guess. It is just a little smaller than a skoal can. I will take a couple more pics. It is so simple, but the sound is HUGE!

I've seen Sam and the Poc'et call at many shows. This is a great sounding scratchbox. Unique to say the least.

Funny you bring this up. I have been running scratch boxes using slate pots as the striker and the sound is hard to beat!

Your too modest Fred as your little Cox box is one heck a scratcher as well. 8)

Never seen that before, but Sam makes some fantastic slate calls.  Last time I saw Sam was at a show in Augusta a few years back.
