Title: A Big Thank You
Post by: hunter22 on July 02, 2012, 07:52:39 PM
I owe a member a big thank you for sharing some of his Kenny Morgan calls with me. These are about as simple as it gets. But they sure will make some fine turkey talk. The clucks and purrs on the Frictionwood call are as good as I have heard. We lost Kenny way too soon. If you want a calling lesson go to his website and listen to some of his demos. Awesome stuff.

I also owe a huge thanks to a couple of members here for my Morgan frictionwood caller! This thing is stuffed full of turkeys. Made in 03', it seems they just get better with age like I have "heard" happens with fine Canadian whiskey! *lol*

A couple years back I became interested in tube calls, scratch boxes, and trumpets. I stumbled upon Kenny Morgan's calls on the internet and listened to his demos and was blown away with the calls and the gentleman running them. I neglected to order some calls from him until it was too late. *cry* The frictionwood is all I hoped it would be and makes me that much more determined to find a Morgan tube and Spanish Dagger yelper. If you haven't looked at his sight and demos, you owe it to yourself to check them out.
