Title: My Euro Mounts
Post by: West Augusta on June 25, 2012, 08:34:54 AM
My 2012 Eastern Euro Mount.  A shift leader at work did these for me.  Pretty cool.
Now I need to come up with a plack to mount the tail and beard on.

He did one skull and the neck and skull of the second bird.

I may make a stand for my strikers and mount the head and neck on that then mount a fan, beard and spurs and mount the other skull on the shield for it.  Not sure yet.

Very nice Steve!  I did my first Euro turkey mount this year and learned firsthand how hard it is to get a turkey skull/neck to that condition.  Thank God for epoxy!  ;D  Did you see the one I did for my mom?  Maybe it will give you some ideas . . .

That looks good. May do something similar. Matt threaded the vertebrae on a piece of #10awg wire with white insulation then glued the head on.
