time to finish two boxes. The first is my standard size Turpin in walnut and osage. The second is a smaller Turpin that I've wanted to build for some time and this one is chestnut and blackwood. This little guy fits real nice in your hand but has a ton of sound from way down low to flat out screaming with a nice gobble. Thanx for the look. Bill that Chestnut is sweet for sure, I like them both, but partial to the Chestnut--nice pics too.
-
Like that tiny Turpin a lot.

Fine looking calls Bill. But I have to agree with Scott, I really like the wormy chestnut look.

Thanx guys. That LIL Turp was supposed to be all chestnut and my hunting call for the later part of this season but I couldn't get it to work with the chestnut lids so I set it aside. I decided to try the blackwood lid on it thursday night after work and with a little fine tuning she came to life. Now I have to wait till fall to try it. *cry* ROTFLMBO
