Title: Another Porter rumor?

I just received a text from some mysterious person named Porter?
Says that the turkeys are dropping in Kansas.  Could it be?

3 coming in, one spooked, one fell.  
11.5" beard.

Oh, and this Porter person wasn't the one pulling the trigger.

Good one buddy there...  just rolled in late last night and had an emergency at work first thing...  rolled home and I am tired.

Kansas was a blast and we were on birds all day long!!!  Ended up on 5 monster strutters to only get spooked by the farmer cutting his alfafa....

I am trying to get back out to Kansas again.  I have a lot of pictures to post, but I've worked 7 days in the last 6 weeks :)  I made work pay for me not being able to go to Nashille.

This bird was a hoss.  11.5 " beard about 1 to 1.5" wide... spurs were 1" but hooked and sharp big time! 

We have no idea why the middle bird spooked on this one.  We dropped 3 right out of the tree!  We really thought we were going to get to double up and didn't...
