Interesting...do you think the handle enhances the sound, or is there no effect?  Georgeous piece of figured (crotch) walnut.

That's interesting Chuck . I would think that a handle would make it harder to play since you normally apply upward pressure with your hand cupped under the pot as you run the call . And  harder to fit in your vest pocket .

I heard Chuck run this one this morning and is sounds great.  A little deeper and raspy with a great break.

I took this call out in the woods today sat down against a tree ran a series  of clucks cuts and yelps and no sooner before i even got done a hen hammered me and came running in yapping away and got busted getting the camera out of my vest pocket .

Dave i like it  "Turkey Pan"Nothing wrong with turkey going to Pan they taste good .
