Ricky, Where are you located? I went by Hankins Lumber in Grenada, Ms. about 6 months ago and they had a whole stack of yellow persimmon in stock. He told me it was getting a PREMIUM price at present. $100 a board foot. ROTFLMBO I told him I had some cut logs drying in my shop and some yellow. Believe I would hold on to it.
Shoot me your dimensions and I will cut you some and send it in a large box. You pay the postage plus a 1$ a board foot for the time. Mine is regular and yellow, been drying about 4 - 6 years. Some has a few worm holes, a lot does not. All straight grain. No burl. Just let me know how you like the grain running and if you are interested. This was cut on Burk Landing Hunting Club (Rosedale, Ms.), and Catfish Point Hunting Club (Benoit, Ms.) on the Ms. river after the last ice storm.
