I just got home from my hunt out West. This one is for McKamey. I also wear snake boots like Jeff wherever I am turkey hunting and this is why. I was fortunate to see this guy. He was about 5 feet or longer and as big around as my wrist. He was totally camoed in the grass. He is still out there. I did not kill him.

Snakeboots are a must in SE Georgia. Kinda ruins your whole day when you run across one of those. Why is he still alive Rickey?

Mark,
I had several gobblers close by and did not want to shoot this bad boy. I wish I could post the pic where you could zoom in. You could see the full effects of him coiled and ready to strike and see just how big he is. One of the most impressive snakes I have encountered in the wild. Perfectly camoed.
