Title: Gobbler #2 Tagged out in NC

Well I wasnt sure if today would be  better than yesterday but WOW..It was awesome...I carried 3 decoys, groundblind, chair, video cam and my bow in this morning...I looked like Clark Griswald walking across that field...I got set up and at primetime had 4 gobblers sound off behind me...2 of them probaly 150 yards or so....I look across the field and here come 11 jakes....Yes ...11 of them...The surround my decoys and have a big time...a call softly and BOOOOOM a gobbler had slipped in and was right behind the blind coming my way...all of the jakes immediately ran to him and surrounded the ole boy as if they were gonna whoop him...Well  he saw the Gobbler decoy and busted through the pack and commenced to spurring the heck out of Joe!!(thats my decoys name.. *lol*)  well i came to full draw and Whackkkk  I sent the rage downrange and center punched him...he cut 2 flips and died right beside Joe...That broadhead did some major damage..never seen anything like it...i am a big fan of Rage broadheads now...That was the first time I had used them....Well now its time for my kids to get on the board!  Then Sunday its off to Texas for Rios with my friend George and McKamey!!!  Cant wait...  ( bird had 11 inch beard...1 1/8 spurs..)

Nice Longbeard. Know you got your limit the kids will get there turn too. Good luck to the kids. If you you adopt me I will hunt with ya. I will even carry the blind and dekes. LOL
