Title: Not always about turkeys
Post by: fargobox on April 15, 2012, 08:46:43 AM
Had a great scouting trip yesterday am...found the gobblers I was looking for, but also had some fun with several deer.  I have bowhunted for 35 yeras and it never stops to amaze me that deer know it's spring and you are not going to hurt them...in many of my scouting trips the deer come right up to me, curious for sure and this am it was the same.  Here are some pics of a nice doe and a young buck...as they change from their long winter hair they appear a bit scraggly.  They were no more than 25 feet away.
