This past week, a great " unknown " turkey hunter passed away. His name was Harlan Mitchell. He was 83 years old. He never won a turkey calling contest or appeared in any magazines but I would bet he could hold his own with many of the best turkey hunters who ever lived. He was a great guy and I am proud to have called him my friend.

Sorry for your loss, you clearly carried a lot of respect for him and I am sure Harlan touched many lives a long his journey. Sure he'll in be in your mind and heart when you enter the turkey woods this season.
