Title: traditional poplar and walnut box
Post by: firedup on February 28, 2012, 07:33:52 PM
A real traditional combination with a good traditional sound.  Added some hand cut lid checking and walnut/poplar/american chestnut inlays. Poplar is not as "glamorous" as some woods but day in and day out it has got great tone and produces solid turkey. Didn't notice Ole Josie in the background. He found him a choice rotten deer leg!  ::)
