Well I didn't "miss" anything yesterday since I didn't shoot ROTFLMBO
I did have a very successful morning... I managed to call in 10 birds. Could have shot at (and hopefully harvested) a really small poult... Might have weighed 5lbs or so..
Here's some photos I did manage. Wish I'd put down the bow and taken more pictures. The Tom I shot at last weekend was with this small flock. He wanted nothing to do with my setup :)
Here you'll see them down by the gate. They are a good 300 yards from where I was setup at!

Next I changed lenses and zoomed in on them. Got a good pic of one. Shortly after this shot, I got them headed my way!!!

I love hunting this farm. You can go field hunting to timber hunting in seconds!!!

What kind of hunter takes a camera in the woods with them? Don't you think those birds can see you taking photos ? Earth to Porter... Earth to Porter!!!
I would have slayed all 10 with one arrow!
One time while hunting, I got a 28 lb tom with almost 2" spurs with my bow. Distance of 92 yards!!! Smoked that bird dead! I'll have to post pictures of that dead bird!
