 Here is another one of my new scratchboxes . This one is made from maple from NY state and padauk . The soundboard is made from an ancient cedar fencepost from Eminence, Missouri . Through much trial and error , I have found the sound that I am looking for in a scratchbox caller . These have a great deal of tone and volume , and produce a nice yelp that breaks over like a boxcall . The purrs and clucks are very realistic sounding .
