Chestnut turpin

Been working on this one a little at a time and think that I have it where it needs to be sound wise. The lid and box are both Chestnut. I'd like to thank Chuck Anderson for the lid blank that he gave me. The box has a nice hen on the left side with gobbler on the right. Thanx for the look.  Bill

Wow Bill, short of the taped off underside, that caller looks like it just stepped out from the 1930's really fine looking and a definite hunter all the way *up*

Thanx guys for the kind words. Bob if you ask Mike or Ed they have run these and been with me while hunting with a Turpin and for me it's the only way to go. Just love the sounds you get out of one of these boxes. Fargo the woods from that time period as I think both pieces came from old bard beams. I may need to send you a piece to make me one of your box calls. *aah* ;)
