I'm finishing up one more laminated striker after this and then its back to calls for a bit, had to wait for some new jaws for my chuck so I've been learning a new finishing technique/trying to be creative.
This one is going to Nationals instead of the last laminate I posted. That one will be sold, hopefully.
It's a Padauk peg with a maple burl top. After I made it I thought that a padauk end cap would have been nice but oh well, lol! The pics don't do this striker justice. With maple burl being light, it doesn't run that well. It runs great on aluminum though. I'm sending to the decorative striker division at Nationals.
