Cant teach an ole dog new tricks.......................
Not true, any person who's studied psychology or organizational behavior would disagree with you. All people are capable of changing or being changed. Its the duration, sincerity, and effectiveness of the change that is variable. It's all about motivation...
To Bill's remark. I accept that I can't change who I've upset along the way. A decade plus I've been hanging around these forums and chasing the illusive bird(with varying degrees of success). I had ridden ol' Bill pretty hard several years ago and he has every right to be sore with me. I'm sure Mr. Henkel has a few regrets too...
I also understand that most of what people "know" about me and other members of this forum is based largely from the fabrications of a handful of talking heads. If your like me you've met and/or spoke to only a handful of participating members of this forum. You cannot hold the misinformation against anyone as its an inevitability in the internet age.
In 2008 I implemented what I called a "value added quotient" to my life and acquaintances. Pretty simple really, I chose to keep up with those who added value to my life. To that end, these turkey calls are worth nothing. They are nothing more than wood, metal, plastic and bone. Since changing philosophies I've had the good fortune of rekindling my relationship with real friends and enjoying what I love most... turkey hunting.
To the original poster, you can dwell on this spat all you want. It's not healthy and you'll never be satisfied with the response. In the face of the detractors I've always slept easy knowing that I was better to them than they were to me. Sure sounds like you're in the same boat..
