Oak Burl set of pots
« on: August 01, 2011, 01:17:40 AM »
Spent some time in the shop this weekend. The slate call was an experiment that I wasn't sure would work. This blank had a lot of natural holes all over the pot. I didn't use any Ca on this one, not sure what's holding it together.
It's slate over dual sound boards glass/aluminum. The glass call also has dual boards elk/aluminum. Elk horn got a little Scrimshaw and color on it. Strikers are Hickory and Walnut with Oak burl handles. There plum full of turkey. Might have to keep these for my collection.  RkLu

That's actually not part of the set, I was trying the Whistlin' Dixie on a sound board to see how it looked.
The set is gonna take some time yet.  RkLu
