I've had the worksharp 3000 for about 3 years now and the thing works awesome on my chisels. I can't get an edge as sharp on my chisels as I can with the worksharp. In my opinion, its definitely worth the money. I usually keep a 220 grit on it and when the chisels start getting dull, I touch them up with the 220. i don't go through the whole process every time I have to sharpen them up. I don't have any of the add ons for this machine, I strictly use it for my chisels and it does an excellent job.
