Well ....
24 hours ago we got some news we all felt glee over concerning Mike, and guy that loves the friendships he has on this forum.
Adam just called me.....the family was called together as Mike had a sever turn late last night for the worse. He had to have his heart revived. The doctors have now at this point asked the faily to make the decesion to remove Mike from the ventilator that is sustaining him currently.
For the last two days Mike has been breathing without use of the ventilator even though it has remained hooked up in case. Well now, he is being sustained at a 75% level with it. The doctors have told the family that there is no hope shy of Gods intervention at this point.
The doctors tell the family he is in no pain. Therefore, the family has requested the staff there to give the man a chance through Monday to see if he can make a recovery from this set back. At that point the family will once again get with staff and face the deciesion if it becomes necessary.
I know how I feel right now, feel like the wind has been sucked out of my sails. From the elation of hearing it was best case senerio to this. I cannot even imagine what Mikes family is going through.
We need to really keep Mike in our prayers -he is in DESPERATE need of DEVINE intervention at this point.
