After turkey season, my boy said he wanted a call like I had. He wanted a hen box. My sons hands are pretty small so my hen boxes are a bit to big for him.
I contacted Richard and asked if he was up for a challenge. He said yes and man was I ever surprised at this caller... osage/ebony... My son was delighted it was in dad's favorite wood. He's about as big of an Osage lover as I am!
Richard thanks for knocking this one out of the park and thanks for doing it in Osage. I was not expecting that!!!!
Now the only problem is, will dad get to use it this next Spring
It's so funny. He's been showing it off to the kids in the neighborhood that he has his own custom box call now!
