Does any body know where i can buy some dried river cane for making calls ? I asked this before and someone said to try Joanne Fabrics. Looked there the other day They didn't have any.

How long does it take to  dry ?

You can dry it in an oven on low in about 2 days. But the only place ive ever seen any for sale is on ebay. It is green.
I only cut dead cane myself. No drying time needed. By the way, bamboo will work just as well, contrary to popular belief. Take it from someone who's made many many yelpers from both reed cane and bamboo. You can't tell a difference.
