I belong to both forums and I must say alot of fine people have left on OG, I  do like both of these sites but the way he was talking to you Daryl is just plain wrong...they always hurry up an take the posts down so nobody can read what they actually say... alot of good info on both sites, and yes OG is very commercialized...I probably shouldnt say this but there are alot of call makers on OG that shouldnt be call makers and there are some great ones.. {just my opinion though}

To get on a site and ooh and aah over a call just because it looks good is wrong. It can be very misleading to a potential customer. Just because a call looks good doesn't mean it sounds good. You're right doepee, I've seen some folks get on there and post up videos of themselves playing the calls, and they sounded like pure . But, yet the post indicated different. Any time one post up something like that they sould be prepared for "constuctive" criticizim. I'm no callmaker, but I believe one should earn that reputation instead of it being handed to him on a forum site. There are a lot of old time callmakers that had to work for it. If you've had personal experiance with a callmaker and know what quality call he turns out is one thing. But to get on a forum and beef 'em up just to run your number of post up is wrong.

Mark, you are absolutely correct. But, that is what happens a lot....posts get bumped up on certain sites for no reason other than to bring them to the top. If the call has nice craftsmanship and has the sound....it will make it on it's own merit.

Great post. I'm a new call maker I been lucky I guess. No one has busted on me yet. I try to produce a turkey killer. My Idea of a turkey killer is a lot different than the run of the mill turkey CHASER. I learn with every box I build and strive to build a better call each time. Some people believe if it will purr and cluck it's a turkey call. I know I can't please all people. I try to be my own worst critic when it comes to my calls.

Shannon, that is the way it should be. I've tried my hand at building box calls and can tell ya, it's no easy task. Most folks don't know how to check the rollover on a box.

Daryl, you've got one of the best sounding copper calls I've ever played.

Your calls not only speak for themselves....they are proven killers man !!!
Everyone geys kinda singled out at one time or another it seems...its a shame though.......I seem to be experiencing some of that from a couple of guys that I feel I have always supported and considered friends, guess sometimes ya learn different---its a shame.
This is a great community and we are all in a sport we are all passionate of. Its a shame everyone cannot get along.
Just my two cents worth, better shut up before I get wound up  .
