Any Pflueger users?

I've been looking at new reels (I use spinners mainly) and I want to get the best bang for my buck. I've read tons of reviews and the Pflueger Presidential line is getting lots of praise and it's under $75 with an extra spool. I just don't know anyone that uses them.

I'm not brand loyal at all when it comes to my fishing gear. I like what works and lasts. I have shimano, shakespear, & abu garcia on my poles right now.

I like having tackle for most every situation but I want a great go to reel that I know can be used for finesse or hard work if it hits. That's asking for a lot but I WANT IT LOL

I was raised a Daiwa guy and switched to Shimano more than a decade ago.  I've been thrilled with them and plan to continue with them.  I'm sure someone has some experience with the Pflueger reels here..

I have never used one I have heard good things about them...

I am a  abu garcia ambassader man my self...They been making reels since around 1921 that tells you something in it's self. And you can find a reel that will fit your wallet with the many differant types they offer. I like the 5000 and 5500 I just know I ask alot out of a reel and these have never put me down. My dad fished with them as did my grandad. I have caught any thing from fresh water fish in the 20 lb range to Reds and Shark in salt water.
You take care of them and they will take care of you, but I guess you could say that about anything.
