Bad storms last night, 36 degrees this morning, rain stopped at 6:00 A.M., wind blowing 30 MPH, but what a great day with my sons in the woods. Did I say cold! Only heard one hen yelp (must have been close with that wind) but didn't see a thing. I did better than I thought, May go once more if the weather is better in two weeks. A great day in the woods. Man that felt good. The boys were more excited than I was. Sure would have liked to have seen a Gobbler strutting...but hey great Day! Thank You God, and thank you for your prayers and encouragement!

Too bad the weather didn't cooperate hopefully the next trip it will. I am glad you got out Mike there is nothing like a day in the woods with the boys, Good Luck your next trip out.

Sorry to hear about the weather, but you got to enjoy time outdoors with loved ones, and the memories will last a lifetime. Hopefully, Mother Nature cooperates in a couple weeks so you can do it again!  Kyle

Had the same weather here---hard frost and hiugh winds---lock jawed birds in the morning. Sorry to hear the birds didnt co operate Mike.
Set your mind to it and go again with the boys man---there is no better substitute for making ya feel great than that !!!!
