Seems like the harder woods are favorites......

     Didn't see anyone mention anything about cedar, Alaskan yellow cedar, or the softer woods....


Well then I will throw this out there. I like sumac and cherry as well as oak, maple, purple heart, ash and hickory

I have a couple of green Poplar strikers that sound pretty darn good.

I had a Silvers, morado striker that was the best I've ever used on any material.......lost that one and my Silvers birds eye maple is the go to striker for any pot call I use.

 My favorite striker would have to be the one that runs best on the call in hand.. They are all good!!
