This one hit the ground about 70 yards from me and was covered up with 6 hens as soon as he straightened up his head...they had a place to go....they slowly headed north....all turkey talked had ceased...I knew they were headed to the pasture I can't hunt...I decided to find a better tree...and just listen and see what the day would bring...I had been sitting about an hour when I heard a 4 wheeler coming down the north line...soon he was in the pasture...I gave it ten minutes and lost called...he gobbled I called back and it was on...kee kees...hen yelping....jake yelping...then I seen him strutting...on they came...all of us being very vocal....he was 15 steps before I could get a clear shot...1 spurs 8" beard...and I did feel 56 before I got out of that muddy swamp....called him with a box and pot that I built....

Da'gummit man ,,,Happy Birthday,,,,,,,,,,56 ? Fine bird ,,congrats . That's the first story, that I've heard,  involving a 4 wheeler that had a good outcome.
