If anyone has a problem with the NWTF, take it out on the Virginites, not S.C.

Tom Rogers told me this in 1975, it's on page 3 of TC mag. & is on that page in each issue.

On the other side of it , Nashville is a great place to have the convention . The Gaylord is beyond words and the crowd in Nashville is always top-notch too .
During the welcome dinner , the CEO of the Gaylord gave a speech and said that they had a contract for the next five years . Then he went on to tell how he is a good friend of George Thornton and told stories of hunts they've shared together !  They've been good friends for a few years now and that was straight from the horse's mouth , last month in Nashville . One glad hand is shaking the other it seems ! I don't think it will be going anywhere for awhile .

I'm good with that ! It's worth the 6 hour drive and the expense of the Gaylord for 4-5 days . Already looking forward to next year !

Theres another Gaylord near Orlando.  I think it would be worth a shot, a lot of folks fly in for the convention and many bring their family.  If their family is like mine after about a day of the Convention they can hear yelps in they're sleep and are ready to leave.  Some other attractions like those in Orlando for family to visit may entice some more people to come and stick around.  On the other hand its geographically out of reach for some too.

You can usually find relatively cheap flights to Orlando as well.  Drove past the Gaylord in Orlando this past week.  Nice looking establishment.  The family definitely couldn't get bored there...
It's not the end of the world, but you can see it from there.

Been to several and Nashville just seems to be the best all around place that I have seen.  Sure, somethings could be better but overall it fits the bill.
