Double Talker from Proffessor Wingbone
« on: March 11, 2011, 07:54:24 PM »
Here's a little something I picked up from Professor Wingbone. It's called the "Double Talker". Slate on one side and aluminum on the other. Sweet little sounding call for those first little daybreak sounds. This one won't break the bank either.

Thanks Fred

Mark

Is the little hole for sound or is it for a string to hang around you neck?

The hole is for a lanyard if'n the hunter wants one.

I've had several calls about this call. It is a first hour of the day call. It makes great tree yelps, clucks and purrs. It comes with a padauk/sycamore striker. The striker pictured with the call is one that I make with flyrod bamboo and corncob. I use the same pattern that I use making the wingbone/corncob strikers. I made the first one of these calls in Oct. of 2009. Hunted two days in Pa. and had three bird die in front of it. The spring of 2010 saw five more die. I've really gotten attached to this call.

Mark,

I hope it serves you well this spring.

Fred
